The work, duties and powers of the Center shall be as follows:-
(a) Formulation of National Minerals Policy.
(b) To prepare and implement necessary programs for the protection, promotion and development of mineral substances.
(c) Taking necessary actions to solve the problems faced in the mineral industry.
(D) To conduct other promotional programs related to mineral substances.
(e) To do other necessary tasks.
